How it works

Three things

  1. Light up. Type a word on the home page. It becomes the first star of a new sky with its own address, and the AI lights a ring of related stars around it. Hit + on any star to light up more.
  2. Constellation. Every star you light up or talk through is a footprint (just looking at one isn't). The path you walk is kept, in order, from the very first word — it's in the panel on the right and in every export.
  3. Deep dive. Pick a star, open Deep dive, and talk it through with the AI, with the whole constellation as context.

Fair use

Seekstar runs on large AI models, so every plan has limits that keep it fast and affordable for everyone. Most people never meet them. Days reset at midnight UTC, months on the 1st.

Pro also has a monthly allowance of AI use. Past it, Seekstar keeps working on our standard model until the month ends. On very busy days, visitors and free accounts may be asked to come back tomorrow; Pro is never paused for that.

Where things live

Skies are stored in your browser (IndexedDB). Open the same browser and they're there; open another and they aren't — yet. Accounts and sync are coming.
